School bus driver injured in west Charlotte crash

Two have been transported to Carolinas Medical Center-Main after a head on collision involving a school bus and a vehicle, according to Medic.

The incident happened at the 2600 block of Ashley Road Monday afternoon.

There was one student onboard the bus and a bus driver, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.

One person was taken to CMC with life-threatening injuries and another person with minor injuries, according to Medic.

The school bus was serving Allenbrook Elementary.
