CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - An American Airlines flight headed to Punta Cana Wednesday had to turn around and head back to Charlotte-Douglas International Airport due to an "odor".
Flight 1965 reported an "odor" in the cabin and promptly headed back to Charlotte. The flight had taken off around 11:43 a.m. Wednesday morning before deciding to turn around.
The plane is an A330-200 carrying 183 passengers and a ten member crew.
Paramedics met the flight upon arrival back and two passengers were evaluated and cleared. One flight attendant was transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
No word on the cause of the mysterious "odor".
