GREENVILLE, SC - A baby girl born Monday in South Carolina, hours before the total solar eclipse, has been legally named Eclipse, FOX Carolina reported.
The Greenville Health System said all babies born on August 21, 2017 received onesies commemorating the total eclipse.
FOX Carolina reported a baby born at Greenville Memorial Hospital to parents Freedom and Michael Eubanks was named Eclipse Alizebeth Eubanks in honor of the special day.
Eclipse came into the world at 8:04 a.m. Monday weighing 6 pounds, 3 ounces and measuring 19 inches long, the hospital confirmed.
