An east Charlotte man's remains have been identified. CMPD received confirmation from the medical examiner's office Thursday.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were at the Bondhaven Road home of Richard Allen Hable investigating his disappearance when his remains were found under the home. Hable was reported missing on August 20 after last being seen in May. Police suspect foul play and told Fox 46 News they were previously concerned for Hable's wellbeing.
Police say this case is being treated as a homicide and is an ongoing, active investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-432-TIPS.
