Bullet from street shooting strikes woman in northwest Charlotte home

- Multiple children were inside a northwest Charlotte home when a woman was struck by a bullet, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.

The shooting happened about 1:55 a.m. Friday in the 7900 block of Bristle Lane.

Police say someone was shooting outside in the street and a round entered the home. The victim was struck in the leg, but they are expected to be okay.

No arrests have been made.
