Carolina Brotherhood biking 500 miles in remembrance of fallen first responders

- Several first responders in the Charlotte area have died in the line of duty this summer.

The Carolina Brotherhood is biking 500 miles in 5 days in remembrance of their fallen brothers and sisters.

These firefighter and law enforcement officers are riding from Columbia to Raleigh to give emotional and financial support to the families of those who have died in service of the community.

One Charlotte firefighter shared why he's riding. "We want to let the families know who have lost their loved ones that their people are not forgotten and that we'll be there for them no matter what even after their gone." Clayton Llewellyn a Carolina Brotherhood rider said.
