CHARLOTTE, NC (WJZY) - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police announced Friday they have arrested another man in connection to the murder of Charlotte teacher Bianca Richardson Tanner.
Lawrence Adrian Briscoe, 32, has been charged with Concealment of Death.
Evidence gathered during the course of the investigation led detectives in signing a warrant for the arrest of Briscoe.
Briscoe was arrested earlier Friday in Fort Mill, SC through a combined effort of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, and the VCAT.
Briscoe is currently in the custody of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office awaiting extradition. Police said there is no timetable on his return.
The second man involved in this case, Angelo Smith, pleaded guilty Thursday in the death of Bianca Tanner.
