CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46) - Two teenagers have been charged with murder in the shooting death of a 15-year-old last month in east Charlotte, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Homicide Detectives.
The incident occurred Sunday afternoon on Nov. 13 in the 8000 block of Sherington Way. The victim, Zavier Ellis, 15, was found by police with gunshot wounds and taken to CMC with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead two days later in the hospital.
Davione Mackey, 17, and David Burns, 16, have both been charged with Ellis' murder.
