CMPD looking for suspects involved in overnight armed robberies in Uptown

- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are looking for suspects involved in two overnight robberies.

Two men robbed a woman at gunpoint near the 1800 block of Camden Rd. at the light rail station, according to police. Officers said the woman's purse was stolen, but no injuries were reported.

The suspects left in a dark colored Sedan driven by another unknown person. 

A short time later, another robbery happened at the Greyhound Station on Wilkes Pl. where two men robbed two women at gunpoint.

Police said one shot was fired, but no injuries have been reported. The men left in the same car previously described.
