CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - UPDATE: 11:06 a.m. 8/22/17 - Archiana Flemming, 19, who was reported missing has been found safe and was reunited with her family Tuesday, police said.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for the public's help in the disappearance of a missing 19-year-old.
Archiana Flemming was last seen by her mother, Towonia Wallace, at her home in the 2200 block of Bancroft Street around 8 p.m. Monday, August 21. Wallace notified police of her disappearance later that night around 9:12 p.m.
Flemming has been diagnosed as having diminished mental capacity and requires supervision. She's described as a black female, 6'3" tall, weighing 300 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
Flemming was seen on Monday, August 21 at 8:15 p.m. shopping at the Family Dollar located at 2022 N. Graham Street in the company of the unknown man. He is not suspected of committing any crime, however detectives are interested in identifying and speaking to him in order to help locate Flemming.
