CMPD search for men accused in December home armed robbery

- The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying two men connected to a 2016 home armed robbery in west Charlotte. 

Officers said on December 21, 2016, two men knocked on the door of a victim’s residence in the 2700 block of Watson Drive. 

When the victim answered the door, the two suspects forced themselves inside of the residence and fired several shots. The suspects then fled the scene in what is believed to be a silver or light blue Chrysler 200.

The first suspect is described as a tall, skinny black male with dreadlocks and approximately 20-30 years old. He had a face tattoo on his left cheek and a tattoo across his neck. The second suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6’1” with a crew cut. 

Detectives are asking anyone with additional information concerning this case or the suspect to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
