CHARLOTTE, NC (WJZY) - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are searching for a man who they said took off his electronic monitoring device.
Officers said Alexander Marcus Garris is wanted for Robbery with Dangerous Weapon, Possession of Firearm by Felon, Alter/Remove Gun Serial Number, Damage to Property and Interfering with an Electronic Monitoring Device.
Garris was court ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device as a condition of his pre-trial release.
On Thursday, August 11, Garris cut off his electronic monitor and was last known to be in the area of 2300 W. Sugar Creek Road.
