CMS Police working to identify suspect in several school robberies

- Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and Crimestoppers are working to identify a suspect who broke into storage units at several schools and stole equipment. 

Officials say the break-ins were reported between the first of April during Spring Break and most recently May 31. 

The suspect has stolen from approximately eight CMS campuses, taking more than $8,000 worth of custodial equipment and supplies.

The stolen items include cleaning machines, pressure washers, cases of garbage bags and other cleaning supplies.
