2 school bus crashes reported in Charlotte

Two separate school bus crashes have been reported in Charlotte. 

The first was in west Charlotte where a CMS school bus crashed with another vehicle at Toddville Rd. and Old Mount Holly Rd. in northwest Charlotte Thursday afternoon.

The bus had 11 people on board when it collided with a pickup truck, but police aren’t sure exactly how the crash happened yet.

The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries as well as one child whose condition is not yet known.

The incident is still under investigation. FOX 46 is on scene gathering more information.

The second accident was reported just after 5:30 p.m. at Providence Rd. and Alberto St. The Charlotte Fire Department tweeted out that Providence Rd. is currently closed.
