Concord police search for missing man

- The Concord Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating reported missing person. 

Officers say the family of Christopher Ledon Johnson reported him missing on Tuesday, Feb. 9.

Johnson is from Monroeville, Alabama and was visiting with family at 333 Lincoln Street in Concord. The family reported that Johnson walked away from the residence between 9:30 p.m. and midnight on Monday, Feb. 8.

Police say Johnson is considered to be special needs. 

Johnson is described as a black male, 43-years-old, 6'2" tall, 210 lbs with brown eyes and black hair. 

He was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with an air brush championship logo, blue jeans and white sneakers. Police say he may possibly be in the Charlotte, Concord, Kannapolis, area.
