CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - A early Thursday morning house fire in northeast Charlotte left $50,000 in damages, fire officials said.
The fire happened around 4:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18 at a house located at 6400 Treeline Place in the City's Eastway neighborhood.
One elderly woman was able to escape the fire before crews arrived on scene. Twenty-seven firefighters were able to get the fire under control within 25 minutes.
Luckily, no injuries were reported.

The origin and cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
