LINCOLN COUNTY, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office continues to search for a man who is accused of kidnapping a woman and forcing her to attempt to withdraw money from a local bank.
Reginald Aaron Ballard, 42, is charged with felony first-degree kidnapping, felonious restraint, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault by pointing a gun and communicating threats.
On Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018 Ballard is accused of holding the victim against her will and forcing her to drive to a local bank in an attempt to withdraw $5,000.
Ballard fled the area around Highway 150 and Highway 27 West intersection on foot. He is described as a white male, 6'0" tall, 160 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair that is sometimes worn in a ponytail.
