CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, SC (FOX 46 WJZY) - A dog with its mouth wired shut and its legs wired together was tossed out of a car Wednesday night in Chesterfield County, animal officials say.
Chesterfield County SC Animal Services posted on Facebook that the dog was brought to them by after someone stopped to see what the car in front of them had thrown out the window.
"When they got closer realized it was an animal and stopped and called 911," the post reads in part. "Really takes someone soulless to do an evil act such as this!!"
Animal Services said the dog's jaw appeared to be broken and that they would be performing a full vet report.
"Of course this mistreated soul needs a rescue to step up and give him/her a life where all this can be left behind."
