Early voting for Charlotte's primary begins on Thursday

- Early voting begins Thursday morning for Mecklenburg County’s municipal and school board elections.

Voters can cast ballots in uptown Charlotte at the Hal Marshall Annex located at 618 N College Street. The building will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Monday through Friday next week.

Organizers said 16 additional sites will open on Saturday, Oct. 28. All 17 sites will open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. that day.

All 17 sites will be open 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29.
