Eleven people facing drug charges in Lincoln County

- Eleven people are facing a total of 60 different drug-related charges as part of a law enforcement crack down effort on controlled substances in Lincoln County.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Ofice says deputies arrested seven of the eleven people between Wednesday and Thursday as a result of indictments being handed down on Monday. 

The indictments were a result of several undercover operations in Denver, Crouse, Maiden, Vale, Iron Station, and Lincolnton, targeting opioid pain pills, methamphetamine, and crack cocaine. 

The seven suspects arrested were:

Lester Ray Bradshaw, 55, of Johnstown Rd., Crouse, NC was charged with twelve (12) felony counts of trafficking opium/heroin including by sale, delivery, possession, and transport. Bradshaw received a $700,000 secured bond.

Eric Dwayne Pack, 39, of Bouy Ln., Denver, NC was charged with three (3) felony counts each of sell and deliver methamphetamine and maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances.  He was also charged with four (4) felony counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine and one felony count of possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin.  He was also charged with one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.  Pack received a $86,000 secured bond.

Robert William Church, 34, of Hudson White Trail. Lincolnton, NC was charged with four (4) felony counts each of sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance (crack cocaine) and possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance. Church received a $25,000 secured bond. 

Derek Jason May, 47, of Fieldhaven Court. Maiden (Lincoln County), NC was charged with two (2) felony counts each of sell and deliver methamphetamine and possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine.  He was also charged with one felony count of maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances. May, who was already in jail for previous meth trafficking charges, received an additional $20,000 secured bond.

Hannah Marie Dillard, 32, of Bouy Ln., Denver, NC was charged with one felony count each of possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance and possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule I controlled substance.  She was also charged with one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.  Dillard received a $25,000 secured bond.

James William Canipe, Jr., 42, of Cranberry Trail, Vale, NC was charged with one felony count of possession of schedule II controlled substance and one misdemeanor count each of possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Canipe received a $10,000 secured bond.

Robert Eugene Kinsler, 32, of Trinity Lane., Iron Station, NC was charged with one felony count of possession of schedule II controlled substance and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Kinsler received a $10,000 secured bond.

Four people who were indicted have yet to be located.  The individuals and charges are:

Colleen Velma Jewell, 38, of Fieldhaven Court., Maiden (Lincoln County), NC is facing three (3) felony counts each of sell and deliver methamphetamine and possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine.  She is also charged with two (2) felony counts of maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances.

Brandon Keith Maynor, 30, of Betterbrook Ln., Lincolnton, NC is facing one felony count each of possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances.  He is also charged with one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Conway Storm Cook, 25, of Kings Mountain, NC (formerly of Lincolnton) is charged with one felony count of destruction of evidence and one misdemeanor count of possession of schedule IV controlled substance. 
Dakota Aaron Duncan, 22, of Gastonia, NC is charged with one felony count each of sell and deliver counterfeit controlled substance and possession with intent to sell and deliver counterfeit controlled substance.

Citizens are urged to report any suspicious drug activity to the Drug Tip Line at 704-736-8606.  All callers can remain anonymous and all tips are investigated.  If your Crime Stoppers tip leads to an arrest you could receive a reward of up to $1,000.
