Family displaced in Lancaster Co. house fire, firefighter injured

- The Lancaster County Fire Department is investigating a fire that completely engulfed a home in flames.

Firefighters responded to the fire on the 7500 block of Haley Lane. It started in the garage and moved into the attic, according to firefighters.

A family was home at the time and said they heard a popping noise and smelled smoke, but there were able to get out safely.

Firefighters say the home is not livable, but they were able to save some personal items and pictures.

One firefighter suffered a minor injury hurting his shoulder after a fall. He is currently in the hospital.
