Missing 13-year-old in Surry County found safe

- UPDATE: The Silver Alert for Autumn Rain Bowling has been canceled, according to the Surry County Sheriff's Office. Thank you everyone for helping spread the word. 


The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons is asking for the public's help in locating a missing, endangered teenager. 

Residents are asked to be on the lookout for Autumn Rain Bowling, 13, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment. 

Bowling was last seen along Lisa Lane in Mount Airy wearing a dark t-shirt, jeans and Nike sandals. She is described as a white female, 5'9" tall, weighing 260 pounds with long brown hair and hazel eyes. 

Anyone with information on Bowling's whereabouts is asked to call Det. Daniels at the Surry County Sheriff's Office at (336) 374-3000.
