CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - Major flooding trapped five people at a recycling business in north Charlotte, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
The incident happened at Top Price Recycling located at 144 Atando Avenue.
Capt. Dennis Gist with Charlotte Fire said flooding prevented the five people inside from being able to evacuate. Officials believe a storm drain that was blocked caused the flooding.
All five people were rescued and no injuries were reported.
