FOX 46 to get results for victims of Charlotte photographer

CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) – FOX 46 is getting results for victims of Charlotte photographer Eben Patten, who also goes by the name Eben Adrian.

Last month, a dozen women accused Patten of taking their money but not delivering on photos and video of their wedding day and engagement parties. Photos shown to FOX 46 taken from two events Patten was contracted to capture were blurry, overexposed and included shots of the floor.

After our investigation, more women have come forward to say they were also ripped off by Patten. A number of wedding photographers also reached out to us offering free photo shoots for Patten’s victims.

FOX 46 investigative reporter Matt Grant is organizing an event at Noah's Event Venue on Oct. 25 to help get results. Attorney General Josh Stein will attend and hear stories directly from victims. The Better Business Bureau will offer advice to offer tips on how to protect their wallets when hiring photographers. A contract attorney will be on hand to answer any legal questions. And several photography companies, and a hair and makeup artist, will be on hand to take and schedule free photo shoots.

Anyone who is a victim of Eben Patten and is interested in attending should contact Matt Grant at matthew.grant@foxtv.com for details.
