Gaston Co. man charged with conspiracy to violate firearms laws indicted

- A federal grand jury indicted Walter Eugene Litteral of Gastonia Thursday for conspiring to violate federal firearms laws and related gun and drug charges.

According to the affidavit, Litteral, Campbell, and other people have extreme anti-government views. They believed in the Jade Helm conspiracy, in that the U.S. government planned on using the military to impose martial law. They were putting together a plan to resist with pipe bombs, grenades, and other explosives.

Litteral's conspirators, Christopher Campbell and Christopher Barker were charged separately Thursday and agreed to plead guilty for their involvement.
