Gaston County teen missing, believed to be with adult sister

- Gaston County Police are searching for a runaway teen who is believed to be accompanied by her adult sister.

14-year-old Jasmine Spirlin has been missing since Oct. 1. when she ran away from her home at 119 Ridge Circle in Gastonia.

Police say she is traveling with her 34-year-old sister Nina Ovalee Stewart.

The teen was last seen at a Food Lion/Subway off of Edgewood Rd. and Hwy 74 in Gastonia.

Spirlin is described as a white female with jet black hair, 5’0” weighing about 100 lbs. She currently has a secure custody order outstanding.
