GASTON COUNTY, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - A woman who had charges dropped after being accused of trying to hire someone to kill her husband in July was arrested Sunday night on new charges.
Jessica Philbeck, 31, of Gastonia, was charged with misdemeanor telephone harassment, according to the Gaston County Sheriff's Office. She was given a $5,000 bond.
Philbeck was charged with solicitation to commit first-degree murder in July and placed under a $1 million bond. The charges were dismissed in September.
Officers say they received a tip concerning Philbeck on July 17. Investigators have a video recording of Philbeck communicating her desire to hire someone to kill her husband.
