CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - Police are searching for the man who injured a pedestrian in a hit-and-run in uptown.
The accident occured around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday at South Boulevard and Lexington Avenue. Officers found the victim when they arrived on scene. He was taken to CMC Main by Medic.
Outbound South Blvd was shut down for about two hours until police got an update from the doctor on the man's condition. The damaged silver sedan was left at the scene, but the driver ran away.
Police are continuing to search for the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Crimestoppers at 704-344-1600.
