CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - A homicide investigation was underway Tuesday afternoon in northeast Charlotte, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
The investigation was in the 500 block of Camrose Drive near a local church. Police say upon arrival, a man, now identified as 29-year-old Philip Patrick Young, was found lying a doorway unresponsive.
"My moms boyfriend came in the house and said he had seen the guy bleeding and didn't know what was going on, but we had heard sounds and stuff prior to it," said neighbor, Jasmine Robinson.
Young was pronounced dead on scene by Medic. CMPD investigators tell FOX 46 Charlotte they don't know how Young died or if a weapon was used.
