Honda Financial customers double charged in electronic payment glitch

Drivers across the country are furious after they said Honda Financial Services double charged their car payments for the month of April. 

It's looking like thousands of people were hit twice with a bill - and right now Honda has absolutely no explanation for how this happened. 

FOX 46 spoke to a woman in Concord who said she was hit with her normal $500 payment this month - and then an identical second charge from Honda again. 

She said the biggest problem is this put her bank account in the negative and her bank said there's nothing they can do at this point until they figure out what's going on with Honda.

"I don't get paid until next Friday. I have no money. Thankfully, I have friends and family that will help me out with gas and the necessities. But what about the people that don't have people that can help them," Candice Hopkins said. 

Honda Financial has put this statement on it's Facebook page: 

We have identified the accounts impacted by a payment processing error and have taken corrective action to refund these...
