HUNTERSVILLE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - The Huntersville Fire Department was busy Saturday evening battling a large fire at a vacant home.
Firefighters responded to the 10300 block of Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road around 8:40 p.m. and discovered heavy fire and smoke coming from the house.
Due to the rural location a tanker shuttle was required, according to firefighters.
Investigators said the home was previously burned about two years ago. It was totally destroyed on Saturday.
