HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - A Huntersville mom has been charged in connection to her four-year-old son's death, according to police.
On Oct. 22 officers began investigating the child's death. They determined it was likely a homicide and began working closely with the Mecklenburg County Medical Examiners Office and the Department of Social Services, as well as interviewing potential witnesses.
As a result, Lashonda Yvette Hudson, 36, was charged with murder and negligent child abuse inflicting serius bodily injury. Police have not released deails on the child's injuries or the cause of death.
