Inmate who escaped from Randolph Correctional Center captured in Greensboro

- UPDATE: The inmate, Jonathan Henderson, was captured by officers with the Greensboro Police Department just after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.


Corrections and law enforcement officers are searching for an inmate who escaped from the Randolph Correctional Center, a minimum-security prison in Asheboro.

Jonathan Henderson, 28, was serving a five month sentence for selling drugs and was due for release in September 2017. 

Anyone who has seen Henderson, or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call local law enforcement or Randolph Correctional Center at (336) 625-2578.
