Casting agency shuts down website following FOX 46 report, more questionable claims emerge

- FOX 46 has uncovered more questionable claims by a ATG. The 'casting' company recently "auditions" in Charlotte, supposedly for hit Disney Channel TV shows, but a FOX 46 investigation discovered that was really a ruse to up-sell parents on acting classes costing as much as $8000.

ATG's website has been shut down since Friday after FOX 46 uncovered more questionable claims by the company.

At least three 'success stories' promoted by ATG tell FOX 46 they have never heard of the company, have nothing to do with them and do no attribute any career success to ATG.

Charlie Bewley, an actor who appeared in Twilight, tells FOX 46 "nope" when asked if he ever heard of ATG.

A representative for model Vladamir Ivanov says he has nothing to do with the company.

And Abigail Hargrove, who starred in World War Z, told FOX 46: "I've never heard of them."

All three were promoted in a prominent slideshow on ATG's homepage before the website was taken down.

"We are under construction. Be back soon," the website now says.

This comes after ATG had touted its agency connections and previously listed dozens it claimed to work with on its website. A FOX 46 investigation found more than a dozen of those companies had never heard of ATG and never authorized their name to be used.

ATG did not respond to FOX 46's latest requests for comment.
