CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - Local disaster relief teams from North Carolina based Samaritan's Purse are on the ground in Texas helping storm victims.
The organization said they still need people to help. Samaritan's Purse said if folks would like to volunteer, it's a three-day minimum stint.

Another local group is doing all they can for the Texas flood victims. Billy Graham Rapid Response Team have sent seven chaplains to some of the hardest hit area, with another 15 expected to leave for Texas on Tuesday.
More than 100 crews are ready to go, if needed.
In 2016, more than 125 trained chaplains ministered to nearly 6,000 people across North and South Carolina following Hurricane Matthew.
