CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - Can you hear me now?
Verizon wireless customers in the Charlotte area couldn't even ask that question, as a major cellphone outage impacted their ability to make or receive calls Wednesday.
The outage also affected customers trying to use their data.
"A connectivity issue is causing a service interruption for some customers in Charlotte. Our engineers are aware of this issue and are working with our vendor partners to resolve this issue quickly," Verizon said in a statement to FOX 46.
Verizon Wireless says their engineers were able to resolve the issue by 4 p.m.
