CLEVELAND COUNTY, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - A Gaston County man accused of photographing a boy in a Stanley park bathroom over the weekend was taken into custody in Cleveland County earlier today.
Christopher David Hayes the man accused of hiding in a bathroom and taking photos of a 10-year-old boy at a park in the Gaston County town of Stanley has now been arrested.
The Stanley police chief telling me he believes Hayes knew he was wanted and he "sought refuge" at phoenix treatment facility in Shelby, where police got a court order to arrest him around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

Parents and kids who play recreation league games at the park every night have been fearful since the incident, according to the police chief.
Hayes got away, and is accused of running over a coach's foot with his car and hitting another car as the adults chased after him.
He's now charged with secret peeping, assault with a deadly weapon and hit and run failure to stop causing property damage.
Hayes is being held at the Gaston County Jail under $10,000 bond.
