Man charged in rash of armed robberies in Rock Hill

- A Clover man is facing multiple charges in connection to a rash of armed robberies that occurred in Rock Hill this spring, police said. 

Jemarcus Burris, 24, is accused of robbing six businesses between March 21, 2018 and April 27, 2018 in Rock Hill.

He is charged with six counts of armed robbery, six counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and five counts of criminal conspiracy. 

Burris' bond has been denied and he is still being housed at the Moss Justice Center in York, South Carolina. An accomplice, Ashley Wallace, has been charged with five counts of criminal conspiracy.
