Man charged with attempted murder in Rock Hill shooting

- A man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting that happened in Rock Hill more than two weeks ago. 

Tyrone Dunham, 29, of Rock Hill, SC, is charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a crime of violence. 

The shooting occurred in the early morning hours on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 512 Pickens Street. At 4:35 a.m. officers were called to Piedmont Medical Center in reference to a shooting victim. 

Upon arrival, officers found a man, identified as Ricky Jamar Williams, with a gunshot wound to the chest. Officers spoke with a witness who said she drove Williams to the hospital. She told police Williams was shot by Dunham. 

The Rock Hill Police Department said this case is now closed.
