CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - A man is facing life-threatening injuries after he was shot in east Charlotte and dropped off at a hospital, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Around 5:20 p.m. officers responded to Novant Presbyterian Hospital on Hawthorne Ln. where a man had been dropped off at the emergency room with a gunshot wound.
Officers investigating the incident believe the man was shot at The Plaza and Matheson Ave. They are currently on scene gathering evidence.
No one is in custody at this time.
