Man shoots way into closed Salisbury pharmacy, steals items

- A man is facing multiple charges after he shot into a closed Salisbury pharmacy Tuesday morning and stole a number of pharmacy products, police said. 

The incident happened at 7:48 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17 at the Moose Pharmacy located at 1408 W Innes Street. 

Salisbury police said a witness saw a man, later identified as Shawn Everett Hager, 35, shoot the front glass out and enter the business. Hager was then seen exciting the store with pharmacy products and getting into a green van. 

The business was closed during this incident and no employees were present, police said. 

Hager was located at his residence and charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, injury to real property and discharging a weapon in the city limits.

Police said Hager was placed in the RC Detention Center under a $10,000 bond.
