Man shot in Monday night robbery dies from injuries

- A man who was shot during a Monday night robbery has died, according to the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department. 

Joshua Schulman, 25, was pronounced dead at the Carolinas Medical Center by hospital staff on Wednesday. His family has been notified. 

Schulman sustained injuries in a robbery and shooting 6500 block of Outer Bridge Lane around 3:15 a.m. on Monday. Reports say he was with a family member who also sustained a non-life threatening injury.

CMPD is now investigating the case as a homicide. This is the 60th murder in Charlotte this year.
