MONROE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - A woman has been charged with murder in the fatal stabbing of a man over the weekend in Monroe, police said.
Emunah Nardeah Evans, 25, is accused of stabbing David Bernard Hampton, 50, to death.
The deadly stabbing occurred around 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of Sierra Chase Drive, according to the Union County Sheriff's Office. Hampton was pronounced dead on scene.
Evans and Hampton lived together at the house with other people, the sheriff's office said.
