Man who found Brody reunites with pup at Ebenezer Animal Hospital

- The Ebenezer Animal Hospital posted an update Wednesday afternoon on Brody, the 6-week-old puppy who is now recovering after he was shot 18 times with a BB gun.

Hospital staff said Wednesday marked a very special visit.

They said the gentleman from Wildwood Spring Apartments who alerted police and complex managers to the abuse of Brody came to the hospital Wednesday to give the little man snuggles.

Hospital staff said it was amazing to see Darryl and Brody together again under better circumstances.

As we've reported, the 6-week-old Lab mix was found bleeding heavily on Sunday, February 21 on the apartment's property.

He was transported to Ebenezer Animal Hospital for treatment.

Since the incident, police have arrested a 14-year-old male and a 17-year-old, identified as De'Monte Ty'Juan Douglas.

The 14-year-old was petitioned to family court by detectives, and released to a parent pending a court appearance.

Douglas was released Wednesday on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond, and is charged as an adult for felony animal cruelty.
