CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - Shocked and disgusted. That’s how Tiffany Sterling felt following a road rage incident she caught on camera.
It all unfolded near the intersection of West Boulevard and South Tryon Street.
Sterling says a man in a green truck tried to cut her off so she honked her horn. In the video, the man says he had the green light.
On the video the man can be seen opening his truck door. Sterling says the first time that happened she grabbed her phone in case the situation were to escalate.
“He was making racial slurs and sexual gestures. It seemed like he was trying to insult me every way he could,” explained Sterling who tells Fox 46 Charlotte she has never experienced anything like this before.
It all happened so fast that she didn’t get the license plate number.
Sterling says she reacted okay given the circumstances despite some of the feedback she has received on social media. “I could have ignored him but I’m glad I got the footage,” she said.
While she doesn’t know who the driver is she hopes he will think twice about calling anyone those names.
