Medical marijuana gaining momentum in South Carolina

- On Tuesday's ticket, voters in South Carolina will be asked whether or not they support a proposed state law allowing doctors to prescribe medical marijuana. 

It will only be on the Democratic primary ballot. Lawmakers are really just testing the waters since it's a non-binding ballot initiative.

Currently, 29 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico allow some type of medical cannabis program.
