YORK COUNTY, SC (FOX 46 WJZY) - A York County woman is facing charges after authorities say she used methamphetamine with her 16-year-old daughter.
Shari Marie Jennings admitted to leaving her daughter in a home on Lincoln Road with no food for two days, according to the York County Sheriff's Office. She also admitted to using meth wither her daughter.
Deputies say the teen had fresh tattoos and had not been to school within the last year.
Jennings, 38, was arrested Saturday and charged with unlawful neglect of a child/helpless person.
She was being held in the York County Detention Center under $1,500 bond.
