YORK COUNTY, SC (FOX 46 WJZY) - More bed bugs were found at the Moss Justice Center in York County, after the pests were initially found and treated in early October.
The whole Justice Center has been closed and should re-open on Monday, according to Clerk of Court David Hamilton.
He says the building will be treated on Friday, Nov. 2 with chemicals that last up to 30 days. The last time they were treated using heat.
Officials believe the bed bugs came in on people. An exterminator tells FOX 46 it's not that uncommon to see bed bugs in a place of work, simply because they can travel around by hitching a ride on the fabric of a purse or a bag.
