MORGANTON, N.C. (FOX 46) - "It's a waiting process and we just want answers," said Rob Pearson.
Pearson pleading for answers Thursday more than a week after his son Carlton Edmonson went missing January 19th after family went to local police saying they received phone calls from an unknown person saying Edmonson was kidnapped.
Four people have been arrested so far in Burke and Watuagu counties.
There was an arrest in Johnson City, Tennessee as well.
Rob Pearson telling FOX 46 graphic video exists of his son's kidnapping and assault.
"I have spoken to police about it and they told me they do have a video and that being his father and us being his family it wasn't best for us to see the video," he said.
The Burke County Sheriff's Office would not say if such video exists but Carlton's dad has heard there could be up to as many as eight people involved in his son's kidnapping.
"I just think it was a bunch of cowards just trying to make a name for themselves," he said.
With the investigation between three different departments on-going, Edmonson with a message to those who know what happened to his son.
"I would like to know why and another thing is why y'all done what y'all done, just give us our son, our family member. He's loved by many and missed by a lot," he said.
His father has scheduled a prayer vigil at the courthouse square on Friday in Morganton for 6-7 p.m.
