Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have identified paintball shootings as a growing trend where at times random people and property become the targets.
"With everything going on in the world today, even just the fear of being shot with something, I know it's just a paintball gun, that's scary," said one Cabo Fish Taco employee. "She was at her job working, and to be shot with something that, just, is unacceptable."
There is security camera footage of the incident but the restaurant could not provide it to FOX 46 Charlotte. However, they hope it will help identify who the suspect is.
